PAUL WEAVER

DIRECTOR OF INVESTMENTS & FINANCIAL ADVISOR

It might surprise you to learn that Paul Weaver gives the same advice to clients that he gives his high school golf team: “Balance is imperative.”

Whether he’s helping a client plan for their financial future or mentoring a teenage athlete, he emphasizes that you don’t have to choose between work and pleasure.

“You have to find a happy balance,” says Weaver. “It’s a constant battle.”

When he’s not analyzing portfolios or ensuring regulatory compliance with the SEC, Weaver enjoys experiencing the unpredictable and natural beauty of being outdoors.

Three months of the year, that means coaching high school golf, which allows him to spend time outdoors and share his love of the sport. Otherwise, you can often find him doing yard work—an activity he’s not ashamed to admit he enjoys.

“Some people—including my wife—look at me like I’m nuts,” he says with a laugh. “But there’s something therapeutic about pulling weeds, trimming hedges and mowing the lawn.”

For Weaver, nature is an escape from the 9-to-5 grind that also makes him feel sharper at the office.

Each week, he’s energized by the challenge of research and analysis in a world that’s constantly in flux.

“Every morning is a new surprise ... a new mountain to conquer,” he says.

Establishing trust and building lasting relationships are everything to Weaver. At CORE and on the golf course, that means making people of all ages feel heard, respected and well taken care of.

Even if he’s simply serving as a sounding board, he values every opportunity to make a positive impact in people’s lives.
